Bacon, the second greatest food that has every happened since sliced bread. It can however leave oily stains on your carpets. Treat the stain as quickly as possible and blot it with a white cloth or paper towel. For oily stains from cooked pork Leverette states, “Sprinkle the stain with cornstarch, baking soda, or talcum powder to absorb the oil. Use a soft bristle brush to work the powder into the carpet.
